Giving a price over the phone for carpet cleaning is tough because there are so many factors to consider. The things we have to consider in pricing our services are carpet type, age of carpet, cleaning schedule, how much furniture needs to be moved, etc. Please see pricing in our FAQ section.

Factors to Be Considered:

Carpet Type & Style

Certain carpets clean better than others. Some are made to only last 5 years and don’t respond well to cleaning at all. Nylon carpet will clean up better and quicker than an olefin. Some carpet will need to be pre-scrubbed and pre-treated twice.

Age & Quality of Carpet

This needs to be considered to know what to expect from cleaning. Has the carpet been cleaned yearly and treated with a carpet protector? If so, it will respond to cleaning better and quicker than carpeting that has not been cleaned regularly. A carpet with a 15 year warranty will look better at 8 years than a carpet with a 10 year warranty at 8 years.

Furniture Moving

This can add up to 50% more time in labor on the job and add to the job total.

Carpet Cleaning
Minimum charge of $100.00

Standard Service | $.30 sq/ft

• No furniture moved
• Vacuum if necessary
• Pre-condition all carpet
• Work on all spots/stains
• Hot water extract/rinse
• 3-5 hour dry time

Full Service | $.40 sq/ft

• Furniture moved, some item will or can not be moved
• Vacuum all carpet and edges
• Pre-condition all carpet
• Pre-scrub if needed
• work on all spots/stains
• Hot water extract/rinse
• Air dry 1-2 hour dry time

Stairs
$3.00/step | $5.50/landing

• Teflon or Scotchgard | $.14 sq/ft
• Pet odor/stain and red dye stains | On site inspection required.
• No guarantee on pet odor/stain removal.

Furniture Moving C.E Floor Care will not be responsible for any broken item being moved for cleaning unless negligence on our part. All breakables should be removed from any items being moved prior to our arrival.
